This tutorial will show you how to use Fantastico in cPanel. Fantastico integrates with cPanel and gives you the ability to automatically install several Open Source applications in your site with just a few clicks. Let's install a couple of scripts to see how it works. We'll start off with PHP-Nuke. Create a name for a directory (folder) in which the script will be installed and configured. Create a username and password for your Admin Area. The rest of the fields are pretty self explanatory. As you can see, the script has been successfully installed and configured. Bookmark the link to your Admin Area so that you can further configure and manage your settings. Let's now go ahead and install OSCommerce. Again, enter a name for a new directory for the script. Continue to fill in the information in the setup. Once again, a successful installation. No uploading, no setting permissions, no reading installation instructions. Fantastico does it for you. Once again, bookmark the link to your Admin Area.
