I love this product and my service cat loves this product. We never expected it to cause anything but issues for the cat but instead she went bonkers over the tool and continuously seeks more "furmination"!!!! We are firm on the furminator!!!!

Hi I really think this tool is making a difference. The cats coats are much smoother and brighter looking. As far as shedding, I don't think they would stop shedding unless they were shaved, but this has significantly reduced the shedding and I can actually go a couple of days between vacuuming the darker colored carpets. I think it is a success. The cats seem to like it as much as they like a regular brushing, if they are in the mood...

My apartment and clothing seem to be less covered in cat hair than before I started using this product. After using the brush, which my cat appears to enjoy, he feels noticeably softer and I can see how much extra hair has been removed when I clean off the tip of the brush. The De-shedding spray smells great but my cat detests being sprayed with it (or any other liquid for that matter). Spraying first on a moist clot and then applying works better for me. I purchased this product from Amazon and used it the minute it arrived. I have purchased many combs and brushes for my long haired Ragdoll who is going through a shedding period, but none of them worked to my satisfaction. I was shocked at how much hair the furminator removed in one stroke; much more than a whole session of brushing using others. I could have made another cat with the amount of fur removed. This works really well on our short haired, gets alot more of her fur than I thought possible. It also works well on our Main Coon mix, at least the areas we can get of him, it cannot get on his chest, or belly, and he is someone upset if you try to get his sides and flanks.
